PUA

Added to MyNight

AUT

Enter the phonetic matrix of New Zealand’s birdlife under the dense typographic canopy of Gerbrand Van Melle’s audience-responsive PUA. Demonstrating the relation between humans and birds, names appear and disappear, responding to the audience presence.

Stressing the need to co-exist and to address the territorial nature of New Zealand’s original inhabitants, PUA also allows us to understand the phonetic relationship between each bird name and its call.

While you're there check out NZPQ15 before the exhibition heads to Prague in June.
