Kelliher Gallery
Take a peep behind usually closed doors at one of New Zealand’s most famous art collections.
New Zealand’s most lucrative art award, the Kelliher Art Trust Prize, promoted the painting of New Zealand landscape and coastal scenes in a realistic and traditional way from 1956 until 1977.
Modern New Zealand artists have since been added to the collection, including masterpieces by Dick Frizzell, Johanna Pegler, Robert Ellis, Michael Hight, Michael Smither and Toss Woollaston.
For the first time ever, these modern masters will be on show together in York Street, Parnell.
